Weapons suggestions

Add the Type 4 semi-automatic rifle. It'll be the MK.b of Rising Storm.

I'd like to suggest an Ithaca 37 trench gun rather than a Winchester 12 or a Winchester 97. Granted they are a bit more rare, but I think it would be a much better choice, seeing as how it's a greatly underutilized shotgun, and the Model 12 and 97 have been in enough games already in my humble opinion.
Also, maybe the Japanese officers should have the option of a fancy Meiji type 26 revolver. I think they NEED to have a usable Shin Gunto. A type 11 MG would be cool to see too. A couple others would be the type II SMG and the type 99 MG, which was quite like the Type 96, but chambered in 7.7, so it's quite closer to the Brengun design. The Stinger would be a realy cool addition, I agree with that. Id like to put in the idea of an M3A1 and M1A1 carbine as well. I hope you guys end up going with the Browning water cooled, I think that's what the marines used, mostly. But you have the researchers, I'm sure you know what's right.

Just letting you know man. The Army Infantry or the Marines never used the "M1A1 Carbine" They only used the "M1 Carbine" The only military group that had access to that was the U.S Airborne Infantry they were paratroopers and the difference between the M1 & the M1A1 is the M1 Has a wooden Stock and the M1A1 Has a metal folding stock. If they added the M1A1 into the game, it would be historically inaccurate.

Did i ever say people in the pacific didn't use the M1 Carbine? All U.S Infantry or fighting forces used the M1 Carbine except the U.S Airborne Infantry. Your wrong my friend. The Marines and the Army used them in the pacific alot. The only real difference between the M1 & the M1A1 Was the stock differences. The airborne had the M1A1 Version (Folded Metal Stock) because they were in more close combat environments and it was way more portable than the M1 Carbine. The M1A1 Was about 1-1.5 pounds less I believe then the M1 Carbine. I'm sorry for disappointing you but that's all I have to say. I personally Like the M1A1 Better because it looks cooler, and that it's more portable and easier to use then the M1 version. What you said there makes no sense to what I have said whatsoever.

I have said in other topics and I will say again....
The selection of weapons in RO2:HoS is a disappointment, don't get me wrong, love the game, but there should have been more weapons/weapons that were not included.
I want to see alot of variety in RS mostly on the Japanese side since they had so many different types of pistols and rifles.
I also would like to see grenade throwers/launchers(see link) and some antitank launchers aka bazookas.
One gun THAT MUST MAKE IT TO THE GAME DAMN IT is the the Model 50. If it is not in RS it will be a total letdown considering that the model 50 was used quite alot in the Pacific from in place of the Thompson.
Here's some obvious links for GREAT weapon ideas for RS, seriously, just pick a few don't only give us like 6 weapons for each side that sucks considering the variety available.

I wonder if you think that, approx 2 years in to the development of RS, we haven't looked at any lists of weapons yet. :D

Incidentally, no Model 50, so TOTAL LETDOWN ahead. The marines hated it and it was ditched after Guadalcanal era.

The Paramarines which fought at Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima and several other islands did use the M1A1, just sayin'
