To be honest, I'm skeptical this game will be a true sequel to Killing Floor. Looking at the 'gore system' and how the guns look, it seems like there's no plans for anything but assault rifles and melee weapons. The fact that these 3 'pillars' have no space for any class currently in the prequel (apart commando and berserker) means that it won't play at all like each other.
Are "death animations" saying that the zeds are no longer going to ragdoll? That's more of a disappointment than anything.
Reading through the article, this game misses all the core concepts that made Killing Floor such a good game. This quote pretty much puts the nail in the coffin for me:
I feel that this is an oversimplification of Killing Floor to the point where it sounds like you're making another iteration of CoD:Zombies, not the sequel of Killing Floor.
