There were 100K magazine sold. If only 10 to 25% of those are affected by this issue we are talking about 25K people.


We feel that there is an issue. We brought that issue to the business involved for resolution. They have responded and the process is started. I hope that it will be completely resolved shortly.


We are waiting for a response from TWI.

]Here is a summary to date

- a promtion in PC Gamer offering TWI skin said you can "ONly get this unique skin by BUYING the PRINT edition ... edition #254"

- people spent $10 to $30 based on that wording.

- according to a post by TWI, over 100K copies of the magazine were sold. If even 10% of the people bought it because that promotion said it was the only way to get it , that is 10K people, but it could be 25K or even 50K people affected by this issue

- people upset by what they felt was misleading wording requested a response from TWI and to work to resolve the issue

- TWI responded and explained the situation from their point of view. While they said they did not intend it, they can see how people feel misled by the wording and how those people felt they had to buy the print edition

- TWI offered some early suggestions for resolution


At this point we would like to work to finalize this process. We are notifying people who are affected so they can particpate. We are making suggestions for resolution to find a reasonable way to bring closure.


.If you are directly affected ( meaning you bought the magazine), please offer your opinion, and continue to work with TWI.



Our purpose here is to continue the process with TWI. We brought forth our issue, TWI responded. Our goal is to resolve it as quickly as possible.

No, it is working with TWI who already responded acknowledging the issue. It won't be dropped, but thank you for the suggestion.


Its also important to ask here. There are a lot of people watching without commenting. They want to see how issues are resolved, how responsive a business is to its customers. This issue has affected up to 100K paying customers.

It would take under 1 minute for TWI to respond and give a date when they would be able to address the issue. " Hey everybody, really busy here, cant get back to you for 1 hour, 1 day, 1 week, 1 month. Please know this is important to us and we will be back to you as soon as possible".​

It is very disconcerting that there is not 1 minute to reply.
