If anything that "noise" has the right to be even more upset about this than the "core fans".
The "core fans" is clearly a group looking for free exclusive things to make them feel superior over other people.
Stop acting like you bought the skin...

Yes I am aware of it, and it is cool that they offered a chance to those that missed out on the magazine skin.
But what is not cool is this nonsense that is happening in this thread!
If this small group of people were truly core fans they should be happy that they even get to play the game but instead are whining about a flipping skin.

Never been here to "aggrevate" the other "side". I just don't get people like you guys.
People bought the mag for the skin or just the mag, but when it said ONLY by buying the printed version, people bought it. What I don't get is why do people "whine" over their skin that they got in the raffle( not talking about people who bought the skin code, not the mag ) by TYPING THEIR E-MAIL which takes less than 3 mins to do.
If they actually "controled/spectated" PCGamer this issue would never exsist, as seen by an older post. And why even buy the skin from a scalper when even you, yourself ( prolly ) knew this was an issue that had to be solved.( and no, don't give me that completionist crap, you paid for the game but this new age came with sadly DLC's, some exclusive some not ).
Thats what I don't get about you people, and if the issue gets resolved by getting 2 skins for the "2 groups" don't wine about the other skin( looking at you HunBuns ) as they paid for the mags and you paid/got free the skin of the scalper/PCGamer. You get to keep their skin, and they get to keep their "promise" with TWI.

You should read again. I said that any member has the right to post. TWI is experienced enough to filter the posts. In each thread there are always posts that are none constructive. I was referring to such. I didn't point to any party.

We have some additional solutions posted. If you are part of the thousands who bought the magazine, please participate in the process so your voice is heard.
Was thinking the same, these guys keep their skims, and the people who have the mag show it to TWI get another cosmetic item example being a hat for the DoshJacket skin or something like that!
Solda, I don't think that is the best solution, and I'm in the first group (that is, I got my set by activating a magazine-bound key and not from the raffle). Both sets of keys (the first 100k and the raffled 8k) are actually from the same batch, and PCG most likely raffled keys which were left over from the original batch. TWI is already rising above the call of duty, so to speak, in even considering fixing an error which was PCG's, not theirs (though I feel TWI should have revealed their standing plans to reissue these skins much earlier than this - I, for one, wouldn't have bought the magazine if I knew the PCG Dosh set was going to be reissued in the future). I understand you feel the original 100k keys should have some sort of exclusivity over the following 8k, but Yoshiro has already stated the options available to TWI - and has explicitly ruled out manually identifying receipts/proofs of purchase, or any similar proposal. The only sane solution is "drawing the line" here, so to speak. Either make the cosmetic items (PCG Dosh jacket and mask) obtained THUS FAR truly exclusive (if it's ever reissued, make it NOT the same item - slight alterations perhaps?), or as previously suggested, add a simple extra item to all current and future (from the current 108k batch) key activations. That way, they could reissue the current PCG Dosh set whenever they feel like it, but people who went through the trouble of buying the magazine just for these purportedly exclusive items actually get something truly exclusive for their trouble.

Join the steam group and you shall see many more suggestions than here, you could even join the thread that started on the steam forums and read upon the last few comments. Many more people are"aggressive" so to speak than this simply would be a "pick one option" fixing a problem. I have many times quoted or atleast tried to explain what the steam people are writing/talking about so just simply join the steam group and you should see maaannyy more "options" and a convo between people in it making "new" options and discussing them!
I have posted several times in the thread you mention, though my Steam username is not the same as the one from this account. I have also read all of the suggestions in the group. I still fail to perceive a reasonable course of action outside of the two I have reproduced. Keep in mind I am not pulling these out of thin air, I'm guiding myself by TWI's response. People keep proposing "solutions" which tangentially or even directly go against things Yoshiro explicitly stated TWI can't or won't do. **** happens and I fully believe people got (inadvertently) fooled and that something should be done, but it needs to be reasonable and within the limitations of the situation.
