My CPU is ok at 4995, but my GPU is only 1069.


I have dual video cards, so the score should be a little better.
It is a 64bit OS w/ 12GB of RAM, so I should be able to play, if video is up to the task.

As someone who was a mid-spec gamer for 15 years straight...there is a vast difference between running a game and running it well. I've played a lot of games that "ran" at 15-20 FPS on my older systems. So while I don't disagree with your statement, I think it needs to be qualified. Trying to run a game that is designed for DX10/DX11 on DX9 hardware can result in some really ****ty performance, even though it's technically playable.

lol pretty much. PassMark isn't the best way to necessarily judge a components performance.

I disagree.
Devs make a lot of decisions based on specs like these. In coding, in optimization. So, in the end the games are designed to work on a certain range of specs, from minimum, to recommended, up to the sky.

However I'm OC'd to 4.4 GHz and the site only accounts for stock clock.

Again, my card already has about a 10% base speed OC, and I typically bump up the GPUS by 30-40 MHz and the VRAM by 100 Mhz.

I'll run firemark when I get home I guess.
