I want to find a clan too, but almost every clan I see at these forums are like, "Hey guys! We want fun ( some say pro as well ) players with a mic and a good, fast computer to play Suicidal with us!"

Granted, I have a mic and a decent computer, but I still have level 2-3 Perks.

Oh the agony of recent Pubs.
If you have a good team, most if not all perks should be more than useful in Suicidal by Level 4. One of my friends played as a Level 4 Berserker in clan practice last night and not only survived every wave but managed nearly as many kills as I did as a Level 6 Sharpshooter. As long as you have a good Sharpshooter and/or Support Specialist to take down the big specimens you should be fine to clear up everything else (though you should definitely be wary of gorefasts, especially if you don't have a Medic around). Level 5/6 perks definitely help as far as spawn equipment goes but you should be fine regardless. It might help to level an easy perk (read: Medic, Sharpshooter) to 5 or 6 so that you have some spawn equipment to use/sell so you have a bit more spending money when you switch to your preferred (and potentially <Level 5) perk.

On topic, I haven't really had that much trouble with pubs...I mean, the level of teamwork rarely comes close to that in a clan practice, but I haven't really met any truly antagonistic individuals. *knocks on wood*

<shamelessplug> Also, if you're looking for a clan and have a working brain/trigger finger, [AE] would be happy to have you. Add me on Steam (thetempestking) if you're interested. </shamelessplug>

Haha, you know what? You have a huge point there.

I got kicked by 4 punks who hijacked a server earlier today. I was shooting some footage for a new video tutorial when they vote kicked me for absolutely no reason.

If you see them ingame, you might end up getting vote kicked from your public game, so be prepared:

And I'm posting this to warn others and call these jerkfaces out.

A friendly email to the administrator of the server I got kicked from guarantees they'll be perma-banned from playing there. Funny thing is that they actually kicked the server owner after they kicked me!

Spoiler!

Public servers already get enough of a bad rap as it is. I don't understand why these selfish people find it necessary/funny to add to that bad reputation.
Hi, just to add to the list, I was kicked from what seemed to be a public server by three players with a tag, tag in spoiler

Spoiler!

I have a central (Chicago) server you can join me on if you actually want to win, the difficulty is set on hard now, but that can easily be changed. I can also throw a pass on it if needed.

I hate when that happens... Its lame that people who actually play good and are friendly get punished for something these nubbies did. Joining a public server and votekicking everyone is not a solution..

I had to get my own server (95.211.15.19:7707) to get rid of all idiots, it started as suicidal but currently its hard because we wanted to do some casual zombie killing for a while. My server has kickvote/mapvote and it supposed to have anti-block mutator but I think its not working, will fix it during this weekend if I remember.

Im open for suggestions. Oh btw does anyone know how to make the server run official maps only when theres no players on the server? Because atm its cycling all maps I have and since I dont have a fast download enable atm.. well you know.

I understand the frustration of PUBing and getting mauled by zed because your team isn't up to the task, but that's what PUBs are all about. I've been to my share and I know the frustration, but hey that's how the cookie crumbles. How do you think new players start out at? Freaking PUB crawling is how. If you don't like it, there's 11 buck server leases out there so you and your mates can password lock it and that'd be the end of that.

Really chaps my *** when 2-4 new people jump into a PUB and vote kick everyone out. It's total dog crap and everyone who see's vote kicking abused contact the server admin. 99% of the time and Admin will step in and set things right.

I think the thread should be retitled: looking for clan, because it felt like a plug to me.

Kicking low levels

Kicking low levels

I understand ppls frustrations, but I have a private server I run as a public room and the admins will ask you play a higher lvl. If you choose not to, you will get kicked. Our lvl for keeping someone is 4-6 on suicidal tho. I feel that is fair. because otherwise what is a 1-3 going to bring to a suicidal game??? Skilled or not, you will be waisting to much ammo, taking to much damage, and using to much of the other player earnings. I dont see anything wrong with kicking ppl because of their lvl or refusal to play a higher lvl from 4-6. Maybe its just me, but I can always be a jerk about it and make my rooms password protected
