If you have a good team, most if not all perks should be more than useful in Suicidal by Level 4. One of my friends played as a Level 4 Berserker in clan practice last night and not only survived every wave but managed nearly as many kills as I did as a Level 6 Sharpshooter. As long as you have a good Sharpshooter and/or Support Specialist to take down the big specimens you should be fine to clear up everything else (though you should definitely be wary of gorefasts, especially if you don't have a Medic around). Level 5/6 perks definitely help as far as spawn equipment goes but you should be fine regardless. It might help to level an easy perk (read: Medic, Sharpshooter) to 5 or 6 so that you have some spawn equipment to use/sell so you have a bit more spending money when you switch to your preferred (and potentially <Level 5) perk.I want to find a clan too, but almost every clan I see at these forums are like, "Hey guys! We want fun ( some say pro as well ) players with a mic and a good, fast computer to play Suicidal with us!"
Granted, I have a mic and a decent computer, but I still have level 2-3 Perks.
Oh the agony of recent Pubs.
On topic, I haven't really had that much trouble with pubs...I mean, the level of teamwork rarely comes close to that in a clan practice, but I haven't really met any truly antagonistic individuals. *knocks on wood*
<shamelessplug> Also, if you're looking for a clan and have a working brain/trigger finger, [AE] would be happy to have you. Add me on Steam (thetempestking) if you're interested. </shamelessplug>
