I'd like to see that other gun do that.
According to H&K, they stress tested a G36 after putting it in mud and it was able to fire circa 10,000 rounds before jamming.
Very cool video.

While this soundsa pretty impressive at first, it is an absolutely stupid thing to do.With him was his AK47 and Hackworth jumped down in the hole, picked it up, and fired all 30 rounds into the ground.
This could explain why many major security forces in the world seem to prefer buying German.

At the end?
Was well in the middle for me, but whatever
That's the G36, Germany's current standard army assault rifle with the AG36 grenade launcher attached.
Pretty neat rifle, I can assure you that

Well, it was 48 hours in that freezer, IDK what a more prolonged period would change.I was most impressed by the ice test. But prolonged temperatures or mud could show different results.
The video quality wasn't as great to allow closer inspection for meactually its a G36KE.

Now, if there was temperature variation (hot - cold -hot - cold), then this would be different.

I know the K variant (kurz=short) (not to be confused with C=compact, which is even shorter), but what does the E stand for?
How could you *slap*
Alright, then I remembered it wrong, I didn't rewatch it simply for that24 hours at -20 degrees Celsius actually...
Not that I know, but it's probabaly mostly used by commando units anyway.
Even in the army, we never use the K variant. It's not that long a weapon anyway (heh, compared to the G98 at least ) plus the collapsable folding stock eases carrying around a lot.
What a great movie. The AN94's sliding barrel sure looks like something that could be used in future weapons.
