Apparently there is a suburb of Mordor called Vilnius.

At least that's what it must be because the RL version doesn't look like that, surely to God!

Well, I wouldn't want a map with unlimited snipers also. If there are, I would suggest knocking it down to one or two (at most) per side.

My main concern was that it has used a name which might legitimately be used for a map which actually is set in the real Vilnius.

I think if you use a name of a real place you ought to try and do that place justice (i.e. recreate it)

Why not call it RO-Mordor or RO-wHatever so people know that it's a joke map ...sry 'fun' map?

But he does have a point. I wouldn't want someone going around making 'fun' maps with the names Stalingrad, Moscow, Minsk, Kursk, etc. These names should be reserved, out of courtesy, to mappers who really put the effort into them. IMO.
