Console Xbox Overheating Message

I have gotten a message twice saying my Xbox needs proper ventilation due to overheating. My Xbox has been running since 11 pm and is still running with no crashes like that. I stopped playing the game at that time. I was playing Red Dead last .and that game makes the fans kick on and that never happens while I play that game,

Freshly bought de game (Digital Copy via Microsoft Store), and during the first encounter of the Barracuda Predator, the game keeps on crashing on and on.
I can't progress through the story.

Is it linked by any kind of way to the fact that it's a digital copy? (Playing on Xbox One X, game Version 1.0.5.0)

Yeah same thing happens to me, can’t do the apex barracuda as the game dies at the cutscene, try doing something else instead and it crashs still, gives the ventilation error etc. I literally just installed patch 1.0.6.0 and it’s still broken

I think it fixed a broadcasting issue but I’m not sure

A full power off (unplugging the console completely for around 10s) cycle with the latest version seems to have done the trick.
I just got through the apex barracuda cutscene

I hope it won't crash anymore

I've been having this issue also all day. The game has become increasingly more unable to play as this overheating bug happens more frequently when trying to play. What's the ETA on the fix?

I just want to live out my shark fantasy in peace haha

I tried the reset after patching, and it still shuts off randomly. It seems to be linked to unique enemies though, such as albino fish/alligators and enemies near the radioactive bit of the second area.

I was having the same problem I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game works perfect now

Getting this too. Un-Installing and reinstalling got me past the the initial place it consistently crashes at but then it just crashes further down the line. Can’t be good for your system as it’s it’s the equivalent of pulling the plug so wouldn’t keep playing it if you get this problem.

Your gonna need a bigger patch! Pls fix

Any news on this? I’ve tried uninstall and reinstall nothing happens. Been over 24 hours for me that I haven’t been able to play for more than 5 mins without a crash. I’m still on ‘kill the beach goers’

I was having the same problem I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game works perfect now

I'll give it a try. Since I joined the Sapphire Bay, the game has simply become unplayable. Crashing every 15-30min.
Hope this will works else I guess I'll just stop playing this game until the overheating issue is fixed

EDIT : Can confirm, it didn't work sadly. Gonna close the game and wait for a fix because this is just not enjoyable to play with those crash

I can't play any of this game without "overheating" so frustrating. Soon as I get past the menu screen it shuts down anywhere from 10 seconds to 2 minuets later
