here are some ideas i have for killing floor weapons.
teel me what you think about them.
also feel free to sugest your own ideas :)

Support specialist

Shorty Shotgun/Mossberg500

more cheaper then the standard shotgun, ammo clip size is 4 shells,
ammo capacity is 50 shells,
i weak against specimens like the scrake and fleshpound,
can be dual welded.

Spas-12

more powerful than the hunting shotgun, ammo clip size is 6 shells,
ammo capacity is 30 shells,
can be set to fire one or both barrels.

Mounted 50.cal

a deployable machinegun, can rip through hordes of specimens,
can be opperated by players,
fleshpounds can destroy it with 5 hits, players can only carry one each.

Spas-12 already a normal shotgun in game
Mounted 50.cal could be actually fun in a endless fort match ONLY (gray list perks)
M4A1 Carbine should replace bull pup with out scope but bull pup damage and also since there is two precision weapons in the game the bull pup should be replace, scar is a tier 4 weapons should be precise and do damage
Sniper Rifle **** yeah, replace crapping m14ebr
MP5K also not a chance, see first line

S.L.A.M. Yes for Demo 12 (lv6) for others 2 - pipe bombs are 2

Mossberg500 Shorty: Already being thought out for medic
Spas-12: A pump shotgun that's stronger then the hunting shotgun and with more ammo? PFFFFHAHAHAHA
Mounted .50 Cal: This idea has already been suggested in the Engineer Perk thread. 1 per player is a bit much, maybe 1 per team while weighting like 12.
Sniper Rifle: ......it's like the crossbow but with a magazine? Crossbow is a sniper, let's leave it as is.
M4A1: Suggested every week, no.
MP5k: It's a bullpup(it little weaker with the same ammo), oh wait you can dual wield it and that's its only advantage. PFFHAHAHAHA
Flaregun: Suggested every week. I think Husk Launcher has seen more favor over this.
S.L.A.M: Wow, no. It's like pipes exept you remove the hazardness of stacking them over the entire game.

So no. Not only is the AR 15 platform overused and generic, but there's way better weapons that are nigh unknown that we could exploit for our enjoyment.

SPAS 12 is again overused, the Serbu Super Shorty has been suggested before in more depth, mounted MG has been suggested before and made as a mod, the SLAM looks like you're just copying cowadooty :(

Personally i've got a really good suggestion for the SPAS 15, but i'm waiting until it's matured before i take it out the cellar and pop the cork on that one.

So i'd like to say, before i go, to think through your posts, search for similar posts (many are almost identical to this thread) and then learn from them.

Not a ballistics expert but 7.62 goes clean through targets often where as the smaller calliber rounds like 5.45 were made to cause more internal damage by being lodged into the flesh and mushrooming. Not sure if the mushrooming effect would count as more damage but on people it's more crippling. I think zeds can just shrug that off and soldier through it so that's why the 7.62 makes more sense for raw damage.

As for the realistic caliber perspective, wouldn't the AK as is penetrate clots, gorefasts and etc? I don't use it enough to say that it doesn't but I havn't noticed that level of penetration on it.

The SLAM is from HL2.i've yet to play any of those new fangled COD games for obvious reasons but I don't recall anything like this. I know they hve claymores which are like directional pipes but I don't recall any remote stuff other then that silly RC car.

Dual Mossbergs is crazy, the pumping and loading animations would look janky.

Spas 12s have only one barrel, unless you're a magical bearded theoretical physicist in an orange talking suit known for silence and crowbar mastery.

We've already got a short barrel compact automatic 5.56 carbine using STANAG mags, the Bullpup, so the M4 would either be unrealistic or redundant, so other things first would be better priorities.

The slam would basically be another set of pipe bombs, which isn't needed and would likely cause balance issues.

The flare gun and mp5 aren't too bad ideas, but they're not really necessary; the respective tier 1s do their job just fine already.

A sniper would indeed be nice. Or just swapping the laser and the SCAR's red dot to make the M14 a proper Sharpshooting rifle and the SCAR a handy hipfiring gun, but I do understand that many Commandos would be rightfully bothered by that.

Actually its the Benellia M3 Super 90 :S

Also the Spas 12 holds 8 shots and can only be fired from one barrel.

Let's clear things up.

The Tube on the top is where bullets come from, the tube underneath that HOLDS THE SHOTGUN SHELLS.

You can't fire 2 shots out of it whatever way you look at it.

There are no bullets. Shotguns fire shot and slugs.;)

Would not mind some of them as replacements for some weapons already in game.
