Server Ui_fonts error

It appears everything got added to our server ok - I can see the maps and pick RSTerritories or even RO2 maps but every time I try joining my server no matter what map is loaded or put into place I get Unable to load package UI_FONTS.

Please help.

That happened to us with the patch before last.

There are apparently some files that should be deleted. My GSP spent a few hours with me Memorial Day weekend figuring it out. Wish I could tell you what files they were, but try looking at dates?

Apparently, and according to him, even a complete wipe and re-install did not work. But mind you, I don't know what his reload script was. It could have saved a few files ....

thanks....i just did the reload thing and replaced the file in question still nothing....###******.....I may just deep six the thing...........

try to delete your config files of your server and start with them from scratch. Rising Storm requires some new additions to the config files for them to work over a default RO2 server.

I did a full and complete wipe of our server and a completely fresh and new install but still have the exact same issue.

This is ridiculous that it can't be easily fixed.

If this is a server by GS (GameServers) - You'll have to turn in a ticket. They have to totally wipe out your server and start it from scratch by running the SteamCMD.

The wipe (which I thought started your server from scratch) they have that you can do yourself is not enough.

The server has to be built from the ground up all over with this new release at least as far as GameServers is concerned.

They did this for me last night and now the game is running properly and no more error.

I've also noticed how different the server is now compared to how it was before so too many changes to try and figure out everything on your own.

Its an error based on either not having correctly updated files, or missing references in the config file.

Updating the build with the validate tag, and cleaning out the config files should fix it.

Tried that several times now and even reinstalled them.
Still the same.

are you updating with the correct appid or are you still running the rs beta?

Has anyone come up with a true resolution for this error? Nothing has worked thus far and even Gameservers seems to not have a clue on fixing it without completely deleting the server and starting from scratch?

You actually only have to delete the CookedPCServer folder on your server and then run a steamcmd update to fix this problem. It still means downloading content, but it's at least a little bit less than a full server re-installation.
