I bought it from EB Games at the Erin Mills Town Centre in Mississauga. Only try searching EB Games, they seem to be the only ones carrying it. Also, be sure to ask for 'Arma: Combat Operations', not Armed Assault.

European release is 1.05. The US release is 1.06. But the 1.07 beta patch allows both versions to be played togheter. You can run the beta patch and 1.05 next to eachother.

The 1.07 & + mucks up your joystick commands.
1.05 & I guess 1.06 work fine.
Its acknowledged so it will be fixed, apart from that 1.07 is good.

Nope, some cheapy store stuck you with the Euro version my friend. No big deal, just missing a few things(A10 w/ mission, few cut scenes). You should have looked into EB Games for 'Combat Operations' which is 1.06.
1.07 beta patch will bring your version up to date(minus the new content), and a 1.08 patch should be out in a couple weeks they say.

My version is 1.06 English retail so thats fine. BUT DAMN. This game is just so broken. Just broken! Constant hard crashing and now I changed my res and the game will not run because it can't find the video card! Where are the config files? Right now I am not liking this game.
SO I changed the res in the configs thinking it would recognize the settings that are ingame:

slinky, did you download the game off sprocket or whatever its called? A squadmate of mine did that and he can't patch up untill 1.08 comes.

I've got the Sprocket version, and I can patch up just fine. Try either a clean install of Arma, or redownload the patch from somewhere else.
