When can we expect the game/addon/expension.

That would be very interesting for us.

I assume they won't let us know until they are ready to. I'm sure they still have plenty of things to do.

Honestly, I'd rather not get a release date- just because I'd rather the expansion be well-rounded and complete instead of pushed for a 'sooner-rather-than-later' release. And things can come up, so I for one wouldn't enjoy having a release date announced then later postponed.

Just my two cents.

Since this is a mod/expansion I don't think we can expect a release date at all.. Atleast if you compare it to other mods. Mods usually don't have a release date at all untill a couple of days before release.
So it will probably be a surprise.

So will Rising Storm be a mod or what?
This question can not be answered yet. The guys over at Tripwire have announced that it depends on the quality of Rising Storm how it will be released. It could be a mod, a DLC or maybe even a standalone game. But this question can not be answered yet.

Rising Storm will be released as a addon that can work as a standalone or together with RO2

While there are plans, we won't release a concrete release date info before its certain that we'll be able to make that date. There is nothing worse for a game than to be broken upon release.

Everybody is working hard, and once a concrete date can be announced you can bet that you will be able to find it on these forums as well.

Everybody wants Rising Storm to release yesterday, but it needs to be finished first

What the plans are in terms of PR and when new trailers and or screenshots get released I wouldn't know directly, and otherwise I wouldn't be able to talk about that anyway.

I cannot talk about release dates and stuff, but with logic you can understand that the closer a game gets to release the more some sort of information tap gets opened up.

I think it will be realeased next summer. Like May or June.
Im sure there will be a delay or something like that.
