Welcome To Iron Crescendo!
Yes, the one of a kind macro-campaign experience makes its return for Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad! For those of you who did not experience Iron Crescendo the first time here is some background information about what it's all about. Iron Crescendo was an extension to Red Orchestra: Ostfront which organized players, both casual and clans, into both sides of a conflict complete with a chain of command structure that took an active role in deciding each week's battles. This conflict was played as campaigns which represented the full length of the war, spanning many weeks with twice-weekly battles to decide the fate of territories. There was a strong sense of community, both on the individual teams as well as Iron Crescendo as a whole which made for a truly unique enhanced game experience that could not be replicated in either clan or public play.
So with the launch of Red Orchestra: Heroes of Stalingrad, Iron Crescendo will return to again provide a fun and exciting experience that goes beyond the base gameplay. The first campaigns will focus on Stalingrad itself but as more custom maps become available we will have other campaigns focusing on other locales.
Who can participate?
Everyone! You don't have to be in a clan to take part in the fun! Clans are also welcome!
Does it cost anything to play?
Iron Crescendo has been, and always will be free to play! We rely on the support of sponsors as well as donations to keep the servers up and running!
Are there activity requirements?
Nope, you can be as active as you like! We recommend checking the forums at least once a day but there are no requirements on participation.
