error on boss

well i was trying sandbox with 0 waves. so that boss comes. but that should not be any problem i gues.! il try again.
i gues you was right. i tried 5 times without crash i had bots enable:D

I've had this too. No mods installed. On normal survival mode :(:confused: It doesn't always happen but I have had it happen on a few computers now. :mad:

well i dont get what happend but. before i tested my maps they all worked fine now i played my first map bang back to desktop same problem whats going on? is it only on single ? or what cause this problem? hope somebody can help me on this!

first i tough it was mabe the zombievolume but i just putt on flesh pounders only & they spawn all fine...

I haven't managed to get it on solo just online and never on my computer I've tryed it over LAN and the hosting computer has normally crashed just before the normal Boss animation... However it has not happened every time just about half of the times.. I have no idea why this has happened....:(

ye i have it sometimes to not always. some times it spawns 10times fine then on 11it crash. i just dont want to release a map with a bug like that. cant be the height since flesh pounders are about the same height. & they spawn without errors. hope anyone has a solution to this problem.

could it be that one of the new updates cause this since before i never had any problems with my map & now wen i test them it happens to all of them.

Same with me afaik this did not happen on my map before the update. There was a fix to do with how close the boss spawn was to players... could that be it? :confused:

i wish i know what cause this. only thing i can think of is the update cause some kinda of bug in the boss.
i will later try it on my dedicated server see if that server crash as well.

think we should post in the bugs part of the forum?

I can't see anything specific to my map that would give this error...

Are you guys how are getting this error using anything that is not used in stock maps? Obsessive use of anything? I have quite a few scripted triggers could that be the link?

... I really do not know :(

Well, in the most recent patch, there was a fix that made it so that the boss wouldn't spawn too close to the players. From the random nature of the bug, I would say that on your maps he still occasionally spawns close to the players, and whenever he does, the game freaks out.

At least that's what it sounds like to me, I don't know what to do to fix it.

butt that doesnt make mutch sense since there are so many zombie volumes to choose from why doesnt it just choose one thats far away?
