Pectus, how did you get hold of the game? I thought the Euro release date was Friday?

I used a proxy server with a Korean ip to unlock the game files on Origin. Korean launch date was yesterday, among with a bunch of other countries from the same region.
There is allready plenty of European servers up.

Also, i read a thread on the BF3 UK forums where the EA community manager said that it's not an offense to unlock the game earlier with a proxy.

Think EA have probably spent money on that to try and promote.
The guide to unlock is here.
Just change your password before hand, then change it back once you got it unlocked and disconnected from that proxy.

A classic example of why "BEAT X GAME/PRODUCT/PERSON/COMPANY/etc." is a terrible way to set goals to make something great. This applies to anything in life, for that matter. Luckily at least they didn't utterly kill the MP by trying to appease the CoD crowd like they did in SP. Man, a Battlefield-style SP could be really cool if they had really open environments with vehicles and some limited scripting. Like big open arenas to fight in with lots of options.
