Attention Australians

It seems as though you'll be unable to get the uncut version of GTA4 even if you order from New Zealand. Someone from the SA forums received this email:

Hi Brett,

We have been informed today that New Zealand will be receiving the same version of Grand Theft Auto IV as Australia.

As you have placed your order after Rockstar announced that the Australian version was edited, we are assuming that you will no longer require the game to be shipped from us, as we can't supply you with an uncut version.

The last thing we want to do is supply you with a product that does not meet your needs and we've therefore taken the liberty of removing your GTA4 order from our web site.

We certainly hope we can be more helpful to you in the future!

Get it for the PS3. If I'm not mistaken, it doesn't have the gay territories problem.

Actually that quote was from the SA forums. I had just copy and pasted it from a post there that was sent to a member. So the smilie was my bad, all thanks to the WYSIWYG editor automatically adding it.

In the email itself it was probably just a textual " " but the SA forums converted that to the smile, and the editor here when I pasted it, kept the SA graphic.

The email is legit, a number of persons claim to have gotten the same thing that have pre-ordered from that retailer.

"Well in regards to what Rockstar have removed for the Australian release, as far as we're aware there was only one sexually violent cut-scene which Rockstar felt would cause the game to be Refused Classification. Unfortunately we're not able to go into specifics until after the game has been released but I can tell you that the scene involves a weapon being inserted into an enemies private area during a mission where Niko is taking revenge after one of his close friends was forced into sexual intercourse during his stay in prison."

Anyway, I think the new "police evade" feature is cool, that's a huge improvement I think.

Steps to do

1: Find tall building that you get get on top of
2: Get on top of it
3: Start shooting some people, or if you aren't in the mood, molitoves make festive gifts
4: Watch those stars start
5: whip out gun of choice and enjoy for the longhaul

LMAO been shooting litterally thousands of cartridges during half an hour the other day at the cop/FBI just crouching still under the porche of my safehouse in the countryside in SA. (Montgomery IIRC)
