Scenario: Fights for the Wateverovko village...
===========================================================================

Since i was able to play RO-Lazur on several servers i decided to plan a 2th map.
I would have simply uninstall the tools if i didn't find servers with RO-Lazur.
However i did read the Germans did have tanks in the Wateverovko region it will be combined arms.
tanks for both teams. It's obvious the Germans defend and the Soviets attack.
Don't intend to make a precise copy of the area or 100 % historical correct battle, i don't work for
the Discovery channel, but i will try to make a nice very foggy battlefield.
With a small village towards the river.

Cause i do want to give a different touch to it i don't want to use the excisting buildings and stuff
so i have to build houses from scratch. This takes time so be patience.

Keep in mind it's all work in progress.

Village far from done

Cholm - wow, I'm looking forward to this one!

I addition to the map referred to above, a wargames group (http://www.sswg.org) have modelled the siege of Cholm, which could be a source of some ideas:

pictures of the model here:

and exhibited here:

Remember that the Stugs RO has were not used in Cholm, with the exception of maybe the relief effort.

Add a LOT of rubble, enough to clog many of the streets. And add a good bit of destroyed T60s or T34s from previous attacks. Maybe something like little dips in the rubble could be used as German trenches.

If it's VERY late in the encirclement, there should be no snow at all, just barren earth. And if you have vehicles for the Germans in the end, maybe you could make it so they only spawn once or twice.
