Lastest verion of Unreal 3 engine

In their own words, the trailer "calls attention to Unreal Engine 3 features that help developers create gorgeous environments". They have been updating the UDK engine builds regularly - the impressive things here, like dynamic sunlight and shadow cascades, were introduced months ago. (They are also really slow.)

Keep in mind that is a tech demo, and you can't run a game looking like that, except maybe on the highest of high end rigs only.

Just take a look at some of the suggestions on the forum, implement them and when you then finally release the game in a couple of years we sure can!

Aye, no game's going to look like that for the forseeable future, game cutscenes maybe, as thouse can be pre-rendered, but not the actual games.

Also, at some point you just have to pick an engine build and stick with it, or you will end up like Duke Nukem Forever and never release the bloody thing (till the company dies and someone else gets a hold of the IP), and as cool as some of this tech looks in a tech demo, that doesen't mean it's ready for real time rendering in a game, new tech is rarely polished and wholly effecient tech.
