I have broken the files down to the correct directories.

Copy files from each folder to the same folder in your killing floor directory.

With the current version, sorry for the large download. The weapon source files are pulling from something from the KFLTex file. I have nothing left in my code on the weapons that should pull from the KFLTex file, I have even checked the animation and static meshes, I have it fully switched. I'm guessing something is hidden?? For some reason the weapons will not compile without it. But for now, the KFLTex file is needed. Everything is working as far as I know from some test runs. :D I'm going to continue to look into why the KFLTex file is needed, so maybe in future updates it will be removed.




The SentryTech is pretty much what it sounds :) The perk specializes in Sentry bots and also high tech weapons. The perks pros are, very fast movement and strong shields, that's pretty much it. However, the perk will need the speed and shield increase because what the perk has in high tech gagets, the perk lacks in defense. The perk takes extra damage from everything, you name it, explosive, fire, bloat vomit, all attacks... The perk takes a lot of extra damage, and even at the end of the perk level, it still takes a lot of extra damage to everything. So, that being said, use the perks fast speed to stay away from zeds and if you do get swarmed, just hope your shields will take the damage until you can escape. ;)

The perk uses the Brutes point system, since I'm sure the bots will do a lot of damage. The bots have been modified in health and damage since the Sentry Tech specializes in well... High Tech weapons and gagets ;)

If anyone knows of any more high tech weapons, let me know :D I'll look them over and add the ones I think fit the perk and will keep it balanced as possible ;) I thought I remember seeing some energy weapons.... but, I have searched and searched and cannot find them... :\ Maybe it was for another game... I looked through all my bookmarks... and still cannot find them :\

UPDATE: V101

Changes:

1.Added USCM Turret :)

2. Lowered the perk progression points to normal. Had the points set like the Brute, but the bots and turrets do not add to the perk progression. I have spent a few hours trying different codes, and I could not get any of the ones that I got to work, to allow the bots or turrets to add to the perk progression. So, the bots and turrets are for support and not for help on perk progression.

Thank you Massacrer for suggesting the USCM. I forgot all about it :p


Would like to thank the maker of the turrent. Not for certain who the true maker of this turret is, I pulled it from the KFL package, so another thanks goes to the makers of the KFL package :D

I'll give this ago at some point. Just do us a favour and put out moded info into a spoiler, that way it's clear what is current and important. Credits would be nice as well. ;)

EDIT: As for the Tex file dependency, remove the tex file from the directory, resave all packages and recompile, that should remove any dependency.

Forgot about using spoilers :p As for credits, I always try to give credit for anything I use, and try to make it open when I do, just in case I'm leaving someone out. That's why if I leave someone out on a weapon, please let me know and I'll be happy to go back and give them credit ;)

Was putting Credits: what you was meaning? Went ahead and added that in :) That does help it get noticed :p


Also, is there any way of making turrets and bots damage, go toward the perk progression on points? I tried all kinds of different codes and the ones that would compile, would still not work in game. However, again, it may be a good thing that it doesn't work, because then I would just have to raise the perk points per level, like on the Brute. Just as the Brutes weapons are strong, having several bot firing would give damage points pretty quick. But, still curious if it's possible :p


Thank you on the advice for the Tex file :D I'll try that on the next update :D thankfully textures are one of the best things that compress :p but still, i will nice to make the file size a little smaller :D

Changes:

1. Added TechPipeBomb, it's about 2 to 3 times as strong as the regular pipe bomb... so... make sure your not close to it when it goes off ;)

2. Added TechM7A3M, which is the same as the medics, just cut the price down some for the SentryTech.

3. Added Hemi's PlasmaCutter from DeadSpace :D Another great mod by Hemi :D

4. Added extra mag and ammo % increase for SentryTech weapons as the perk progresses. This does not include the IncendiaryPipeBomb or the TechPipeBomb.

Question?
The only problem I have ran into so far, is with the bots and turrent not adding to the perk progression. I have their damage info setup, just as the other weapons. I have now also ran into the same problem with Hemi's PlasmaCutter... I have everything setup, just as I have always setup other weapons, but, it's not increasing the perk... :confused: The bots and turrent, I figured it was because they where AI controlled or something, that is why I pretty much quit trying to try different code lines to get them to work. But, now I have ran into this problem with a custom weapon, which I have not had a problem before... and the weapon of coarse is not AI controlled..

So, any ideas on why at the very lease Hemi's PlasmaCutter will not increase perk progression? Or any ideas on how to get it to work, and also if it's possible to get the bots damage to work as well? Not as concerned with the bots as I am with the weapon not working at this point... :confused: I'll leave the weapon on the perk, but would be nice if it would be possible to get it to progress the perk as well. :)



EDIT:
Ok, here is a strange one.. The PlasmaGun increases perk progress only if you use the alternate fire... :confused: alternate fire doesn't do near the damage as regular fire, but it increases the perk progress... Any ideas? :confused:

Are you saying that when you get hit by an enemy your armor goes up and also your health goes up? Or just one of them goes up? The armor in later perk levels will probably look like it's going up a little, because it's set for over 100% stronger armor at later levels. The armor will go down, but when you get hit, you will see the armor go down some and then up a little. The percent of damage to armor should still work correctly, and your armor will go down, but just at a slower rate, since the armor is over 100% stronger in the later perk levels. Let me know what perk level you was, when this happened. :)

I haven't tested the perk at those levels. Is it your health or armor that goes up when you get hit? Is it both or just one? When you get hit, does your armor go down a few points then jumps up a few points? Meaning, you have 100 armor, and it goes down to 95 from a hit, and then it quickly goes up to 97 or 98. Is that what is happening? Your health should not go up at all though... Not for certain what's going on there..
