RO2 Release Date delayed 2 weeks to 13 Sep 2011

13 DAYS IS PEANUTS!!! Do you'r thing TWI and make sure bugless and well polished game on release.

dont forget guys TWI stands behind their product, what would new comers to RO2 think of a true PC game being all laggy, glitchy, problematic????? Not a first good impression.

Make it right TWI and dont forget to at least give people who preordered the Deluxe editioin at least a week of playing beta, also they can help you to fix some more bugs / profit.

Deus Ex was delayed for a couple of months, and based on the leaked beta it was for the best.

Does a video game being released two weeks later make that much of difference, do you not have more improtant things to do?

Indie companies dont have the luxury of ****ing up, they get one chance to make it or break. Hell not just in the video game industry, any industry, if you're a small company you better damn well prove your value or you'll be out of business soon enough.

We have to announce that the release date for Red Orchestra 2: Heroes of Stalingrad is shifting back two weeks to September 13, 2011. While we understand the fans are clamoring to get their hands on the game, we felt we needed the extra two weeks to get it right and add the extra polish the game (and the players) deserve.

To answer a few questions/comments (and so it doesn't get lost in the forums): And that was raising as many questions as it answered, so I'll shut up now :)

Adding extra Polish to the game?! Sweet another army!! :p

For real tho, do what ya gotta do TW.

Like some others, I'd rather TWI take the time to release a more polished and bug free game than prematurely unveil it to the world. Remember they are going up against some large companies and getting better reviews will do the company and the game much more good than releasing it before its ready. Imagine then everyone saying/complaining about bugs and saying that they just should have stuck with EA or ActiarchIWvision.

I'm glad there are at least a few others out there who recognize this. Its one thing to be bummed the game won't be out on the 30th, another to rant and throw tantrums about intentionally being deceived and being screwed over.
