The Ostfront CYOA Game!

Relax, the Kittun is going to make an appearance very soon...

D wins (you sickos!) followed by B

After servicing yourself and wiping the produce on a spare set of bandages you get out of bed. Your arm is still in a sling but the pain in your shoulder has almost gone. Your head still feels like it's in a vice though. You check on the rest of the men in your room. All of them are only lightly injured, no missing limbs or anything serious. You leave them to rest as you exit the circular bunker and enter a small wooden cloakroom with a few winter uniforms. You find your old uniform, repaired and cleaned, with fur boots and a large winter parka. But this is not what surprises you, it seems you've been promoted to the rank of Oberfeldwebel (Platoon Sergeant?) while you were out of action. An MP41 is also hung by your uniform. You quickly get dressed and swing the MP over your good shoulder and head outside. It's clear from your first glance around you are no longer in Stalingrad. The high midday sun stings your eyes as you look over the open, frozen Russian steppe. Your immediate surroundings however indicate you are in quite a large Wehrmacht encampment. Lots of Half-tracks and trucks are parked around the place, plus a few tanks. German artillery thunders not too far away to the west. Quite alot of warm looking winter equiped soldiers are busying themselves with everyday tasks.
You follow your nose to the mess hall. It appears they've just finished serving luch, but with your new rank that shouldn't be a problem. Soon your plate is filled with sausages, beans, baked potatos, pretty much everything you didn't get in Stalingrad. While your eating you notice something out of the corner of your eye. There, on the table not a few feet away from where your sitting is the most patheticly cute Kitteh your've ever seen. It shivers uncontrollably as it watches you stuff your face, it's two huge eyes almost melting your brain as your eyes meet. It gives a tiny little meow, which almost breaks your heart. What do you do?
A.Take the Kitteh and wuv it (feed it and keep it warm)
B.Give the Kitteh some food but don't wuv it (it will die if you do this)
C.Pick up the Kitteh and demand the cooks make you Kitteh soup for dinner.

Whatever you choose, we're going to see the Colonel next. We have to move this along you know!

A wins

You pick the kitteh up and place it inside your parka with it's head sticking out. As you get up and stroll over to the large important looking building you slowly feed the kitteh your last sausage. Slowly it stops shivering and after it polishes off the sausage it falls asleep. You check it a few times in the Colonels anteroom to make sure it hasn't died and your relieved to find out it hasn't. The Colonels' adjutent calls you in and you step smartly into his office and automatically snap your heels together and salute. Before you sits a old man of about 60, a Knight's Cross hangs around his neck. Behind him a map of the surrounding area of Stalingrad hangs. It shows that Stalingrad has been lost, and the frontline has moved all the way to Kharkov, the date reads Feb.24.1943.
"You've been in and out of consciousness for over 3 months Oberfeldwebel. My medical staff say you've should of been killed when you recieved that blow to your head" says Colonel Von Spanck cooly.
"My mother always used to say I had a thick head, sir" you reply. The Colonel completly ignores you.
"Your unit was wiped out on January 2nd. You and those other men in the bunker are all that is left. The rest are either dead or in Siberia by now." The Colonel doesn't sound overly concerned. Your high spirits leave as you learn that you'll probably never see your friends again. The Colonels' hand reaches into a draw and hands you an envelope. You take it in your left hand, it feels quite heavy. You open the envelope and slide the letter out, letting the heavy object inside the letter fall into the envelope. The letter is full of the usual rhetoric. It tells you you've been awarded the Iron Cross First Class for your bravery on the night action on the 13 of November, 1943. "Now that is out of the way, your probably wondering where your going to be reassigned. The entire German Army is in desperate need of NCOs of your calibur. Well, your going to be reassigned to the...
A. Panzergrenadier in the 3rd Panzer Divison (Kursk)
B. Panzergrenadier in the Grossduetchland Division (Kursk)
C. 2nd Fallshirmjager Division (Army Group Centre or North, can't remember which)
D. You pick a unit

I'm tired and can't really think of anything at the mo. Jhaxavier, you can take over for now with a new round. I'll continue this one when your one dies/you need a break :)
