The Ostfront CYOA Game!

B wins
You wave to your men to follow you as you march north, to presumably where the rest of the FJs are located. The two prisoners are placed under guard at the middle of the line. You decided to walk in the shade of the orchard tree, not due to the heat, which in November is not uncomfortable at all, but to conceal you from any pockets of British or marauding JABOs (fighter bombers). You spark up and take a long drag on your last Cigarette, blowing the smoke out in rings, each one passing through the last. You learned how to do it during your re-training, and you're really quite good at it now. Your mind wanders as you attempt to make more and more smoke rings, but reality soon brings you back to the real world; About 4 miles down the road you spot what looks like the lead element of the rest of the Battalion cautiously advancing along the ditch both sides of the road. Suddenly, further up the road and to the left a Bren gun starts up from a small pillbox behind a grassy knoll. Immediately the point man from the lead element drops like a stone, you can already see a dark pool washing over the dusty road. It doesn't take long for the Battalion to return fire with MG-42 and rifle fire in the general direction of the Bren gun, but the Bren gunner is well hidden and will probably take more German lives before he is silenced. From your position you cannot get a clear shot, but you can see the cleared ground that marks the entrance to the pillbox. You have 4 potato mashers in your belt and 1 in your left boot. As do the rest of your men. Crossing the road with a large group may be disadvantageous.
What do you do?
A. Head over to the pillbox yourself
B Head over to the pillbox yourself with a few picked men
C. Send someone else over to the pillbox by himself
D. Send someone else over to the pillbox with a few picked men

"You lot, follow me!" you shout at the nearest LMG team as you move towards the edge of the orchard. You motion for everybody else to stay as low as possible. You reach the edge of the orchard. Between you and the pillbox is about 10 meters of open dusty road, beyond that a large rock formation at the edge of a long ridge should give you cover from friendly fire directed at you from the hill. About 30 meters down the ridge you can see a clearing and from your new position a concrete corner of the pillbox. It looks like it's alone, but you can't be sure, which is why you bought the MG-42 along. Already a few bullets are snapping through the thin trees around your position which prompts you into making a dash across the road. The MG team don't hang around long and are close on your heels. About 3/4s of the way across you hear the whip and thud of a bullet hitting flesh. You quickly check yourself for any wounds and find that your still in one piece. You skid to a halt as you reach the rock formation and check the MG team. The loader, who is the man closest to you has a pained look on his face and is limping, it looks like the bullet has hit him in the leg. Already the other two men of the LMG team have picked him up by the arms and are dragging him to the safety of the rock formation. Luckily, they all make it across without any further injury. The loader is propped up against the rock formation and is bleeding from a lower leg wound. You cautiously left the leg of his uniform up to above the knee. It looks like the bullet has hit the shin bone, judging from the lack of an exit wound. You reach into his first aid pack when you feel something cold and sharp press against your neck. "Hands up, Fritz!" you hear in broken German. Evidently, the other two men of the MG team haven't been keeping an eye out and some Tommy's have now caught you in quite a predicament. Out of the corner of your eye you can see the two men of the MG team standing stiff with a Tommy behind each of them with a Enfield in hand, aimed at the heads, and behind them one more Tommy with an Enfield about 5 meters back, keeping an eye on the situation. It looks like it's even numbers. Your hand has automatically gone to your boot knife.
What do you do?
A. Try to knock the bayonet away from your neck and kill the man closest to you with your boot knife, and hope the two FJs catch on in time. This is quite dangerous and could turn quite ugly very fast.
B. Give yourself up and then try to jump the Tommys.
C. Give up and hope the rest of the FJs rescue you.
