Hello, recent issue popped up where in game my character cannot move using WASD. Looking around is not an issue, crouching and going prone is not an issue and even switching weapons still works. I just cannot move. I've been doing some reading and have tried to delete my config files and also make sure my keyboard language is set to English as default. Neither of these solutions have worked. Would anyone have any suggestions? I've put in many hours into this game and would like to continue doing so.

If he doesn't move with the arrow keys have you tried resetting the keyboard to the default settings? Have you tried un-installing and re-installing the game. U mention the ini files so u know how a screwed up one can hose ur game.

A less time and bandwidth way to check your install might be to verify local game cache files, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PZng5vj9icv . I vaguely remember from the past something about a program that was messing with peoples keyboard settings, Im sorry I cant recall which one, you might look over all your installed programs and running programs/processes for possible answers, that might be your problem. See this https://forums.bistudio.com/topic/151068-wasd-keys-not-functioning/ , I Googled WSAD not working in games, lots of hits but I cant access Steam community here at work, your answer may well lie there. I have determined the problem may be as simple as your keyboard using the wrong input language !

In response to above, I have reinstalled the game multiple times, making sure the files were fully deleted before doing so. Verifying the game files has also been attempted. Pretty much everything that I thought I could attempt to fix it has been tried.
I'm not sure regarding a program installed that has affected my keyboard, I'll have to take a look. I'll have to reinstall ARMA also to see if that is affected.
