The first three look like A-bomb test sites. They built little towns around the test site and even sent soldiers in afterwards to simulate a post-nuke invasion. In one I could still see where the buildings were sitting. If that's what it is, the circles would be to make it easier to measure damage radii.
The last one looks like a water-pumping station. Y'know, like a well.

who knows what kind of artillery was used (if it was)? google earth says they are about 11 m or 33 yards big (the bigger ones), why should this be too big for arty?
