Server Todays Update

Seems to have killed our server.

When players try to join we get the error:
Cannot join the mach as the host has downloadable content that you do not.

Ideleted all the config files and then tried again with no luck. we are starting the server with one of the new maps and we have tried different settings.

Also I noticed that the server seems to be classed as not ranked any more. What is the procedure for getting approval to run a ranked server please?

We are a GSP with our own hardware.

have you updated your server using HLDS, it sounds stupid but that error you are getting is indicating that the server version is different from the client version.

Make sure you are actually connecting to your own server. With the new server browser issues it's easy to get sent somewhere else.
Either connect via ip in the console or use the connect button instead of double-clicking a server.

Just got a new host and a new server, and i have exactly the same problem, no-one can connect, i even re-installed it, but still no change.

You have to run the server update.bat manually, not from the cPanel
Thats what my GSP done to fix it.

Hi guys
The problem was when I ran hldsupdatetool the server was still running. We have been running several servers and I thought I had shut it down
