after this last test i think there are more server working than i did expected.
imo 60-70% doenst work, but there are server, i can connect to, even if they have vac enabled.

as i pointed allready before i think its not fault of tripwire, but valve.
imo its a bug with authentification or something like this.
and i dont think, that writing in XXL will help.
i wrote a pm to [RO]Wilsonam and hope he will find time to read and to answer.

same problem here (both the can't connect and the version-thing) and not a damn solution that seems to work
i was glad to pay the 25 € for their efforts but this is getting rediculous, no official statement what so ever on a thread 6 pages long
i'm guessing they're waiting untill someone here finds a solution and then take the credit for it

We only need one simple statement from Tripwire, it would be this:
"Yes, we are aware of this problem and we are working on fixing it!"
I don't think it's too much to asked.
Would be very good PR with their customers. Ignoring us isn't the way to go.

Hi Mates,
I have read this thread from the beginning, and I just wanted to say, that I have the same problem now. The first few days everything worked fine. But yesterday I have got the same error messages as you ("Connection failed" or "This copy of RO is not compatible with..."). I have also played RO as a mod since v.1.2 and truly love this game. But with every fruitless try to connect onto a server and with every further error message I get a little bit more upset. Furthermore the communication policy of tripwire is everything but customer friendly. I mean, ignoring this problem does not help anybody. All we ask for is some kind of official statement. We will see....

When I didn't have this problem I never paid attention to this thread, now it's like you said... I am getting more upset every time a can't connect.
An N O I am NOT buying another copy. Tripwire, this is YOUR game, make sure it works for everyone that purchased it, you have a legal obligation. Don't fluff this off to anyone else.
