well yeah, source engine: released two years ago with Halflife
UE3 engine: unreleased and considered next gen where as source is current gen.

my poor ass would have to buy a new video card though

Yes, Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway will be powered by Unreal Engine 3.0.

Like the sequel to Men of Valor (2), Turok (4), America's Army, Lineage (3), Duke Nukem Forever, Postal (3), SWAT (5), Splinter Cell (5) and alot of other new titles like Huxley, Strangehold, Frame City Killers, Lair, Elveon, Section 8, etc...

Really fantastic engines on the horizon - let's just hope really creative people are given a chance to develop some worthy games.

Along with Cryotek and Epic I've been impressed with the Project Offset - http://www.projectoffset.com/ - engine and the game sounds sweet as well.

Well yeah... You will eventually... As technology improves... so do games ... if you don't keep up then you are stuck with tetris.

I like the idea that when the UE3 Engine, CryEngine2, etc come out
there will be more emphasis on the gameplay, and not just graphics,
*points to DOOM 3*

Will they be making Ostfront on the UE3 engine and then releasing it
again, or is it just gonna be a whole new game???
