It has always been that way. You are placing the bullet you shot and the one that was ejected when you opened your bolt.

At least that's what was told to me.

Very odd, I got the Punkbuster (ugh) and driver update prompts, but don't seem to have the update itself. Steam never told me it was downloading anything, and every time I try and join a server I just a message saying "This server has downloadable content you do not."

I've restarted Steam multiple times, makes no difference. Anyone else?

the game won't start...
didn't notice steam downloading anything(yes i tried restarting it) but now right after the game(the game itself, not a server) starts loading, it crashes

Yes Im getting the same thing. Plus no one's on the servers except maybe 1 or 2 people, when I try to join it gives me the "This server has downloadable content you do not." That's with the update from steam.

This happened last time....just give it awhile an it will take, an you will be able to join servers.

I saw that. When it went through the checks, it had a bunch of NOT FOUNDs and FAILED packet retrievals, but it was green and the install went fine...

This will get you playing on a server.

Also for people crashing a lot try to turn down your settings the bigger maps are using more resources.
