The Tigers top and bottom armor was 25mm thick. 50 caliber guns useing armor piercing rounds could penetrate a max of 28mm of armor at 0 degrees from 100 meters. Once they hit the ground and bounce their power is severly reduced and the bullet itself would be deformed. Hitting the top might penetrate, but the angle would be very steep.Quietus said:
