Historical Background:

The East Pomeranian Offensive took place in Pomerania and West Prussia, and officially lasted from 24 February 1945 to 4 April 1945. This map depicts just one of battles for Prussian towns during that period.

Hey Mr. Sichartshofen
Your Map looks pretty good and the first run on our sever was a big success too (full server).
But theres 1 thing u should think about.
All the CC-Stuff needs pretty much performance , so all the players with 2-4 years old PC's (i have athlon64 3500, ati x700 , 2gig of ram and i was crying) are ****ed up while running trough that beautiful landscape.

btw: nades for mashine gunners pls

All in one : Great map, but only with a nice computer 100% enjoyable

Due to the fact that the map would be more suited to 32 players, the 50 player battle I experienced was almost too intense. Especially at the final objective. Even with large amounts of smoke the russians weren't getting anywhere. Maybe open up the flanks a bit? The russians are just getting funneled through that square and getting slaughtered.

Server is running great, my internet connection works fine too and my pc is not the slowest, so what was the reason fot the unbelievable lags ?

BTW: German laws are pretty ****y und strange , so, a version without the flag would be great M8.

I didn't want to add swastika flags to Kriegstadt for instance because I didn't want any German server admins to get arrested for hosting it

i know its "illegal" in germany, but did it ever happen? btw, what happens, when the map hitler bunker is running on a german server

Beta 2 will be the no more tears version. Which should make the last objective not a a complete massacre.

I don't think they can be arrested for hosting a map merely because it contains a swastika, I believe that when used in an historical context such as in a game map it is legal but when used as a display for political alliegience it is illegal.

From my understanding, games are considered to be "toys" under law and the usage of swastikas therein becomes illegal, and the hosting of said maps and allowing them to be distributed would constitute as "dissemination of National Socialist propaganda" or something to that extent.

Checked it out last night & liked the trench maze, reminded me of a partisan hide out. Very green & wet. Fun map!
Saw some zombie issues & fell thru the ground once tho.

Here in Germany al Nazi symbols absolutely forbidden. You will not arrestet so fast, but you must pay a high fine.

So let us german Serveradmins a change to set this map on the server without to have a bad feeling.
