Server Recent update and 999 Ping Issue.

how do i update punkbuster on my server? on my log version is written this

noticeably is old version as i have readaround logs concearning the 2.278 version. so how do i update it ? i just now runned also hlds update command to my server directory and didnt download anything. any help please? my server also has 999 ping issue !

If its not updating itself and you have limited access, try stopping the server, uploading the appropriate file from the url below and then restarting the server.

Our server has the following:

Does this mean that our server is correct and up to date, despite the hlds update? I assume it is correct. I also notice that some clients are generating the following errors on our server:
[4373.16] Log: PunkBuster Server: VIOLATION (AUTO-UPDATE FAILURE) #141: MOH.lt (slot #18) This PB Server Requires (A1372 C2.278) - Error loading pbag [00000000000000076561197991118217(VALID) 78.57.149.75:52676]

Does this mean the client is out of date? If so, would a lot of clients connecting with this issue cause the server lag that people (incorrectly) associate with Punk Buster and/or PBBans?

If our server is out of date, how do I update it, and how do I ensure that the auto-update function works correctly.

UPDATE: Applied the TWI update (version6) and server log is now

That is the latest version, tonights client and server update has the latest PB files now.

That means they are outdated which was likely caused by the last update not having the latest pb client files.

Send the pb_sv_update command to update PB if it's out of date. If you use the PBBans pbsv.cfg file for RO2 we have a task that executes that command daily. Also we tweaked the kick settings to give players more time to get the updates from the server.

pb_sv_UpdateGrace 2400 //[Seconds to wait before Update Failure kick Default=300]
