Pacific war mod?

Hey,

There arent lot of games about conflict in Pacific, the CoD 5 will station there but realism game would be nice. Would it be possible on this engine.

Sure it would be possible - all you need to do is to round up a mod crew and away you go! Actually, you could try asking DH and MN for US and British hardware, then you only need to add the Japanese (maybe USMC) abd build some jungly maps. Should only be about a year or twos work for a good mod team

I think an easy yet large map to do without all that jungle nonsense, would to do IWO JIMA. Its the best place for warfare espescially for using water transports and such. You man arty bunkers in the volcano and fire down at the beach. Watch Letters of Iwo Jima for reference. Good film.

Anyways, Like someone above said, u already have american side. NOw just create the japanese side.

The map would be set out in defense, and the japanese would be pushed back into the caves that they dug for close quarters combat. The only thing would to limit the map so that its not too big! I myself would help you on this but ive got my hands tied at the moment.

God, seing how the DH hedges kill my framerates, I shiver at the mere mention of "jungle"

Bah, Pacific=No Large Tank Warfare=ugh
But if someone was to make a jap model and weapons id like to see a Operation August Storm map. Open plains of manchuria=Tank warfare=yay
