[Error] No servers in server browser

This normally works:

  1. Exit steam
  2. Delete all sub-folders and files in the Program Files\Steam folder with the exception of the folder SteamApps and the file steam.exe
  3. Start steam.exe
Steam will now re-download all steam files, but your games will not be touched. It will take only a few minutes and them steam will be up again. Next right click on RO2 in the game library and select Verify integrity of game cache (in properties - local files popup).

Works!

:IS2: IS2 salutes you! :IS2:

*Edit*

The Thomson router fix isn't working any more. The above fix may work for those not with BT Homehub etc.

By letting Steam write new files, you overwrite the edited Masterserver files. This allows you to see servers in the browser. However, when you connect to them, you'll be kicked off within 60 seconds.

Best solution is to use the updated Masterserver files ( https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1452-HCVB-6984 ) and find servers using 'recently played' or Gametracker and the console command 'connect xx.yy.zz'.

Killing Floor is totally borked at the moment (for me at least), and even the updated Masterserver files will get you disconnected within a minute.
