Why do so many people want another panzer?

All I say is that RO needs more urban maps and less snowy maps.

...and urban maps with tanks, because right now, all tank maps are too open.

Uh....yeah it was? Until the westfront became a huge problem the majority of excellent german panzers were sent eastward. Majority of crack german EVERYTHING was sent eastward. Anyways we're not asking for a lot, the Russians have an IS-2 and t34-85. Think of the german armor in game as this on the russian team:

Germans have king tiger
Germans have panzer IV ausf. h

Russians have no king tiger, rarely a few t34/85s
mostly t34/76's

Now that's what it's like to play german armor in the game now. The is-2 and 34/85 are too overpowered for the f2, tigers and panther, we just need an ausf. H to balance things out, but a king tiger in berlin (koenigsplatz) would be nice and historically accurate as well.

You mean like Kharkov? That map had some potential but it seemed kind of cramped for tank fights..

Yes , the Idea of Karkhov was good, the map wasnt as good as the Idea, but other Urban map with tanks could work...
BTW My favourite map ever was Kiev (Tank version)

that the update will contain a new map that will actually be a remake of a level from the original Unreal Tournament 2004 mod version of Red Orchestra, but remade to work with the stand alone retail version. The patch will also contain two new vehicles.

wow =P. I'm excited for this next update, I can't wait to see what our mystery vehicles are and if any work is done on the tanks! Oh, and thanks for the patch tripwire, it's proving to be excellent in my opinion (minus the jogging animation but i've never cared much about them).
