Gun videos

That rifle had been fired alot that day and was pretty hot at that point. It cycles smooth if you wait between shots but once its hot that is the result. It most likely needs a good chamber cleaning but I've never done it.

If the ammo you are using is laqured that could be causing it to stick as well, as residue begins to "gum" up the chamber.

Edit: How did you take that clip with the Garand? Did someone shoot it over your shoulder?

Yep, Czech silver tip, thats what I used for awhile before that video. I was using Olympic in the video. From what I can tell its coated the chamber and I know of ways to clean out the residue. I just haven't got around to it.

As for the video I shouldered the rifle and tilted my head to the side while my friend filmed over my shoulder.

If you like the muzzle flash of the M44. This is one I took while at a night shoot.

Same M44 and type of ammo. Olympic 180 GRN.

Only three of the five shots are on the film but what is there is pretty good.

Here is a video of me rapid firing my Garand.

And a demonstration of the French Mas 36. As you can see in the video, the bolt on one of these can be cycled pretty fast, maybe not as fast as an Enfield, but fast none the less.

Oh and by the end of the day. There wasn't much left of that vacuum cleaner.
