I am running KF on my Macbook Pro 5,3 with 4g ram, 9600 GPU, and 2.8ghz processor, and the FPS is horrible. Even on low graphics settings with VSync disabled, my FPS barley goes above 12-15 in firefights. If i go stand in a corner with no players or enemys on my screen it goes to like 40fps, but as soon as i shoot or other characters come on my screen, it gets horrible.

Make sure your Macbook Pro is set for performance not energy saving. But you should still have better frames then that. What version of OSX are you running?

I am running 10.6.3

I even disabled dock magnification and make sure to close all other apps before playing.

And yes I have my GPU set to performance.

Will running OS X in 64 bit kernel make any difference.
I don't think Killing Floor runs 64 bit, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Again, my FPS drops occur only when things are happening on screen. THey are not consistently that low. If I am looking at a wall with no player or NPC on scree, and am not shooting, my fps is at around 40-50. But once stuff starts to happen, it drops to around 12-15.

My performance is about the exact same. 40-50 not in combat, but drops to about 10-15 when in combat, it kinda sucks. Runs fine in Windows though.

AF apparently kills performance in the openGL mode so if that is on you could try turning it off. Try turning off reduce mouse lag as well.
