Server File Redirect

I cannot seem to set up a redirect on our server. I have this in the config. Is something wrong or do I need to do something?

Add a / at the end of this: RedirectToURL=http://www.imperialguard.co.uk/server/ro

next to that it gives a page not found if you load that website. Make sure the files are compressed aswell.

I got that as well. Check your permissions for the /server/ and the /ro/ folders

Well it wont load a page as thats just a folder. How do I compress the files so they can be used?

On some web servers you can still browse folder contents when no default page is set. Nevertheless, your question seems to indicate the problem: if the maps aren't compress and Usecompression=true is set, it won't work.

That thread explains how to compress the maps. Although I had some trouble with it -- the server itself needs to be installed (I think) on your system. Since I don't have the server installed on my home computer, here's what I did:

1.Downloaded a copy of the "System" Folder from my server's installation into the My Documents folder. This could be anywhere, of course, but be sure NOT to put it in the same directory as your red orchestra game. Also copied the custom maps into that folder.

2. Opened a command window in the newly downloaded folder and issued ucc.exe compress mapname.rom

The compressed versions will now be in that same directory.
