Can you guys please try deleting your INIs out of your My Documents/My Games/RedOrchestra2/ROGame/Config/

if you change the language to english it download 2,5 gb again and than it will work but thats no good fix because you must redownload a lot files

Hi i did not help my mate senf my all config files and game start i even complete German terning but menu screen is flashing and i have no start logo and i dont have any movies so i give up for today just downloading full game again hope this help

i didnt delete the inis but after i changed the language from german to english it worked. (but it was a 2,5 gb download)

And by typing this I'm getting a 7,8 GB download via steam.

i just uninstalled the game and will re-install it again with the right language from the beginning....googled about this error and other games have it to....no real solution than re-install if you wanna have german language

no i dont think it has to be english.....i just think due to preload it in english and changing it to german caused some problems...(my guess)
i will try to complete re-install and see if it works, otherwise i just rename the german language files to the english ones to have at least native game voices....i dont wanna miss greates german soldier voices of all WW2 games

I have the same problem here, reinstalled RO again same error.
And furthermore i dont have a RO2 folder in my games :/

german doesnt work, switching back to english (I don't get why steam has to delete the english files, why doesnt it back them up in a backup folder?)
