Tactics Does anyone have any Patty tips?

*Plan your trading before hand at the wave10, do the buying thing and mad dash to the hole up point.
*Let the supporter weld some doors but left an exit which would serve as an escape point and a warm welcome entry.
*Demo should lay lotsa pipes infront of that open gate, and he should clog up other possible healing points or at least clog up any escape point he may use in the hole up area. That would force him to use his syringes in front of team and you can easily cancel them. Don't put pipes infront or very close to welded doors.
*Noone should show himself until patty comes in and steps the "welcome home dad" carpet made of highly explosive material.
-if he sees any of you near the pipe bombs he will ready his RL platform.
Solution is simple! Don't stand near pipes and warn or kickvote other players if they insist.
-if he sees a few players standing VERY close, trying to stand and aim he will ready his RL platform
Solution is simple! don't stand close and don't try to shoot in one direction. None of the classes can kneel Patriarch down from a distance single handedly. Let the Demos welcome him with LAW shots first.
-if he sees a few players scattered around without cover he will spin his chaingun
RUN! and take cover, crouching behind something works most of the time. We're playing hide and seek with a mutant monster and you are British soldiers. Before he spawns you all should take cover. Don't try to shoot LAW if he's spinning his chaingun. Don't try to throw grenade if you attracted chaingun fire.
*Support should stand next to the only open door, left or right but indoors. if he steps in from the planned door Patriarch would lose lots of hit points by now and he'd need to escape. if support could be quick and weld the door behind him (only %1-2 enough) he can't escape and cover fire would do the rest to make his mind blown up to tidbits. When he stands to RL the door nade spam him again and let him escape. On higher difficulties Patriarch has some very serious vitality which would be problematic in a closed up space.
*if patty comes from an inappropriate point (rocketing one of the other doors), plan B kicks in, everyone should head to the only exit hastily instead of welcoming him from there. you better weld the door behind you, like plan A. when he tries to stand still and gettin ready to blow the door, pipes will be activated and he will lose lots of hp when this happens.
-if team is quick it's possible to blow the door with a single grenade when you heard the blasts then nade spam and focus fire the exposed and kneeled patriarch.
*don't use all of your grenades or pipes for his first kneel always try to spare some for later attacks, if he ever charges onto you and you can see his silhouette best move would be throwing a hand grenade to his chest. He will leave you alone if you manage to do that because blunt damage from hand grenade actually hurts him.
*nade spamming him at his last syringe is pretty viable.
*demos or supports should nade spam him when he's rooted at close quarters, supports and zerks shouldn't act until he's close, demos can stack some nades and volley their m32 or LAW from a reasonable distance.
*Tank classes like Medics and zerks should remain calm and don't act until it's an emergency until his 2nd coming. Medics and Sharps should stay alive until his second syringe or like party can move out from holeup place and they can put a reasonable distance with him. Oh zerk and medic will be the damage sponge when needed.
*Sharps should only shoot away for his throat and forehead then take cover for reloading their crossbow. If team lacks some heavy hitters sharps can handle that role.
*Crisping him up from a distance before he steps on the remaining pipes is another viable technique, firebug can use his flame hose's flaring tip to stop incoming rocket attack from Patriarch. Blasts and flames would tag his invisibility.
*At the third syringe letting a commando take the lead and track him is nice. As well as spamming some more nades to his path

One tactic that always seems to work is crossbow rain. This is where the whole team goes medic or zerker (for the damage buff and speed boost) and buy's cossbows. When the patriarch comes everyone starts to shoot him in the head with the crossbow. This does an imense amount of damage to ol' patti and should stun him very quickley. If someone is getting chased thet should run around something like a building, the patriarch will eventually stop to chain-gun or rocket and that is when the team opens fire on him with a volley of crossbow headshots. The xbow can also be reload canceled, which allows for a much higher rate of fire.

This tecnique works almost with out exception.

Going into a room with two exits, welding one door, and welding the other after he comes in with you is always fun. When he can't flee, six AA12s or SCARs or whatever make short work of him, on hard and suicidal, at least.
Hand grenades will open the cage, though, which is usually where that plan fails.

Last night I confirmed that the "crossbow rain" method works just as well on suicidal. We had a team of 6: two lvl 6 medics, one lvl 6 sharp and myself (lvl 6 zerk); all armed with xbows. We also had two lvl 6 suppourts but they only drove the patriarch off once and the killing blow was delt by a crossbow. Interestinly enough, we sustained NO casualties, and managed to defeat the patriarch somewhat easily.

On suicidal, without any chainsaws.
