The weapons lack some serious punch. I mean, the suit is all hi-tech and everything, but the spec-ops can't have guns that can actually kill?

I can play all settings high at 1680x1050 with an AMD 4600+, with 2 GB ram, and an 8800 GTS but the frame rate drops a little during cut scenes. This system didn't even break a sweat with UT3 but then again UT3 didn't look this good!
I'll put up screen shots shortly.
The water effects are really good. Finally we have 3d water instead of a flat reflecting pool! I'm using DX9 too.

Ive got almost the same setup as you and it runs like poo. Are you using the new beta drivers?

I'm running the drivers that the Time Shift demo directed me to. Like I said it plays great but during cut scenes the frame rate drops sometimes.

That's a giant HL2 esque water splash for a small pistol round
My airsoft gun can do better than the pistol in Crysis.

It runs horrible on my rig at 1680x1050. Around 10-15 FPS, no matter High or Medium settings.

I kinda liked the game, but AI seemed alot dumb to me. For instance, I sneaked behind them and blew up two jeeps covering them from behind, and most of them didn't even notice and continued wandering around ahed. Also, at one time a boat spotted and started blazing at me just as I was near their search party. They didn't notice me. I mean, that boat can't be target practising, can he?
How do I switch between DX9 and DX10?

There is no dx10 in the demo afaik, and when the full game arrives, well.. youll just have to go vista if you want it.

this game is funny
cut down a tree base with an MG..yeah right...but can't cut down small branches
caustics in water is nice at highest water setting
it is basicly like Far Cry...
doesn't run too bad on a P4 3.2ghz machine and Gainward 7800GS++ on AGP
even with some settings on high and medium
