Christmas event?

Any word on what's to come on this either way? I doubt devs would confirm to ease my (and everyone else's) state of mind, but I'd like to know what everyone thinks.

I ended up buying this game last Christmas but had absolutely no time to play it because of finals.. And I really would like to get the achievements for it if possible some day because I don't like feeling as though I missed out when I got the game right when this was happening. I don't know, I know I'll just be bummed if they don't bring it back. Or if they do a new update I hope all the old achievements are still achievable.

One of the devs hinted that the Christmas event would be an annual event. It makes sense after all, seeing how all that time and money was spent making it for the first time around. It'd be a shame to see it go to waste.

I'd assume it would be back whenever steam gets round to its Christmas sale

Yeah, a christmas event seems quite likely, but I am wondering if it'll be the exact same as the previous, or if there will be variations, or even all new zed-skins. New achievements and maybe a new character is probable, but new zeds... I wonder...

Actually I'm pretty sure it'll be an exact repeat of the last Christmas event, to give people another crack at the existing Christmas achievements.

I hope it will be back (I don't see any reason why it wouldn't/shouldn't be though). I'd like a crack at those achievements as they're the only ones I have left besides 5 HoE map achievements. I'm sure a lot of the new players from the Summer & Halloween events would like to see the Christmas event as well.
