9mm Burst Fire Pistol?

So there's quite a big gap between standard 9mm (power of throwing pebbles at Zeds) and any other pistol (Insta-death of any trash mob and the damage of Commando Rifles, if not better). The lowest after 9mm is .44 Mag as I remember.

But also I noticed, all pistols are Semi automatic. So - maybe a Burst Fire beretta ( http://world.guns.ru/userfiles/images/handguns/italy/hg137/1287740830.jpg )? 3-bullet burst fire mode, same weight and bullet damage as 9mm, slightly more expensive (still below MK23 though) and - of course - less shots-per-mag due to burst fire.
A gun on the level of .44 Mag, to fill the gap and give some versatility to Sharpshooters and as a sidearm for other perks.

I think it'd be real cool if it act as a purchasable replacement for the 9mm.

And by purchasable, I mean at the trader, not DLC.

Those are pretty awesome. Although I wonder what role they would fill as burst. 3-round burst isn't exactly so precise that it seems like it would fit well as a sharpshooter weapon. But IMHO all handguns except possibly the flareguns should be made perk neutral.

I would like it, but why should they make it when we can have Bullpups?

Maybe as a replacement for reaching a certain perk level would be better?

It may be a good idea to have machine pistols like say Glock-18C or a modified Beretta 92FS as an in-between, or replacement for 9mm for certain perks.

For some reason I always felt like the firebug should have an OTS Pernach. Not that he needs one. Just feels like he should have it. Like he had it in an alternate universe.

Yes, why not?

Unless you have the ability to choose which weapon are you going to spawn with.

The Beretta can be useful to pop the head of lesser ZEDs with good accuracy.
