Hope someone from Devs will respond to this. How does exactly Flamethrower work?
It has ROF of 857 RPM (fireinterval = 0,07) and it does matches ammo drain rate.
It has SprayDamage=(X=10.0,Y=10.0) (10 at close range, 10 at far).
How come that for each 1 attack it does damage twice? I mean that within its minimum firetime (250 ms.) it does 4 "shots" but each shot considered as 2, doing total of 80 pts. damage.
Also, it shows 4 spray actors at same time when FireInterval and SprayDamage drawn. I assume FF work similar to shotgun, shooting 4 flames at time, but why it does only twice more damage then?
Edit: apparently 1 "shot" does 6 hits of 10 dmg each. I assume that upon constant firing only one spray actor takes place and others getting their fire interval overriden by each next group of actors, but once stopped firing the last flame will be "free" to use its fireintervals.
I.e. if you have 3 ammo left and using all of them at same time, 2 of them will do 10 dmg each and last one will do 6x10 making total damage = 80.
This means they by using burst it's possible to increase overall damage per mag at cost of time that it takes to drain it.
