Very nice work The player positions just need changing slightly and it would be great. Maybe you could attach a fixed MG to the sidecar and it would rock!
Is the vehicle destroyable by Infantry weapons? So that you could easily take it out with a MG e.g., so that this vehicle is not used for Satchel-rush-attacks, as a MG salvo would simply kill you?
Very nice very nice!! good work!! I hope to c this soon but....
2 small things.
1.The driver does not look right looks more like a passenger hes too far back and he does not even touch the handle bars.
2.This motorcycle should not flip over like the BA-64 because unlike the BA it was not top heavy and it had very wide tires for excellent balance also the side cart would add additional balance.
A small suggestion: This motorcycle should get somekind of weapon Mg-34 would historically accuarate or perhaps the ability to use your Smg or pistol while driving which is also accuarate.
very nice work on the model. Althought I dont really like this for fear it will be another clown car but with some work it might be ok. First and formost please make it damagable by small arms fire and maybe added special hit point areas like tanks have (ammo box, engine, tracks) maybe the tires of engine could be some areas. This would give the germans a fast vehicle but hopefully keep it from becoming a clown car
The sound is definitely gonna need some loving. Maybe someone could ask Welt to make a good quality recording of his BMW (I think his is Pre-war but it looks to be in very good shape so should sound just about right)
Would be nice when there would be an armed version for urban maps like Odessa, for example. It could be used in wonderful ways for attack and defense...
Besides this: Already wonderful work. Just fix the driver position.
Hmmm, that is a BMW R75, right? The ones i've driven were different than that. But they were 1943 versions with stamped steel frames. BTW. the mounted MG-34 is quite easy to use when sitting in the sidecar.
That black bike is fake, plunger suspension didnt exist until 1950's.
If it's put into use for Germans, it should be available for Soviets as well- similarly armed, of course.
I'm referring, of course, to the URAL series of motorcycles which were basically bolt-for-bolt copies of pre-war BMW and Zundapp models bought on the sly from the Swedes; all the Soviets did was make the frame much stronger (and purpose-built for sidecars only) and slap on a different color paint and voila!
In fact, you can buy URALs to this day, and even the military model (complete with MG mount and fuel cans- and camo paint job!) is available. The higher-end models have the more modern slider forks, but the old-school ones still feature the original trailing arm front suspension.
And check out this promo video of the military version- could you imagine how this would play out in-game? Near the end the boys are catching some air in that thing! http://www.imz-ural.com/downloads/movies/Gear-UpW.wmv
