I have looked into this, but it says that teamspeak is required. This discourages me because I do not have a mic and even though I don't think that is required, the only thing I have found is a site that makes it look like I have to pay for teamspeak. Could someone elaborate on what exactly I have to do to get teamspeak? because I would really love to join this.

You have to have teamspeak so you can hear what the people *with* mics are saying; IC doesn't use the in-game voice chat for some reason.

There are a multitude of reasons.
We have found that our server runs much better with the in game voice chat disabled, for example
In addition, Teamspeak is A:. Free and B: Much better then the in game chat, quality wise

It also prevents people from accidentally using either local or public chat as well. All in all, Teamspeak is the way to go for what it is that we do.

Pishi, once registered you should be able to log onto the IC forums as a German, there you will be able to find out dates of battle, etc. You will also be able to get help with teamspeak.
