I played my part, although I talked more about the realism and community more than anything else. I think it was a pretty long review, and I hope I did it at least a bit of justice.

Should I go to Amazon and say how I've spent more time troubleshooting the game than playing it, and even after upgrading my RAM and Vid Card I still get <30 FPS and more bugs than Starship Troopers?

Sure, but it sure does sound like something on your end and not the norm...is it really fair to review a game like that? That's like how Xplay reviewed the game.

I can accept that it's something on my end. But then why has Tripwire been completely unable to give me any advice that has helped at all?
I'm surely not the only person who experiences these problems, and I wish someone had warned ME before I dropped $25 on the game and another $150 on upgrades - at TW's suggestion - to make it playable.

Go to Amazon.com post a review, thats pretty much it really. Go to whichever Amazon.com flavor you use and post a review as well as Gamespot and any others that accepts user reviews. I know this has been posted before just wanted to revive it. Also at amazon.com right now there is a big negative on top and I want that crap review pushed out I dont think they guy even knew what he was buying or read the box.

Gotta love the COD2 fanboy post in there: "I didn't like tanks in COD:UO, so I automatically don't like them in RO." and "I only played 1 map for 2 minutes; this whole game is about tanks and has no infantry combat!"

For those that are really ambitious the review section at Newegg.com could also use some love. suprisingly it has about the same number of reviews as amazon did a few days ago.

Reviewer:J_L_M - See all my reviewsI think the positive reviews all come from RO fans via the RO forum, this game has a very steep learning curve,unless you have a top spec PC forget it, you'll be last to join and just get sniped from the other end of the map. while straining to find the pixel that just shot you. If you like tactical realism its ok.
Someone needs to point out to this a-hole that it doesn't matter if we're 'fans'; we bought the game so we should be able to express our views. Looks like he gave it a 1 out of spite.

how can you say it is ok and only give it one star 3 would be the ok range so I would say you are correct 1 out of spite. And its not like we just said that its great there are some good descriptions on there.

Just wanted to bump this again someone really needs to dispell the crap that is in JLM s review there is more to it than what is seen in the forum here. Most of which I believe has been fixed.
