Level Design When is the SDK coming?

I wonder if someone with an uber-rig will volunteer (or if evil, charge people) to do the lighting for other map designers. That way people could worry about everything except lighting, and then send it off to someone to do the lighting.

Or is that a completely naive way of looking at UDK mapping?

You could do that.

Or you could just compile on preview, medium or high. The difference in lightmass qaulity is fairly minimal to the average eye.

Acting like a child isn't going to make the SDK appear any quicker. You've waited 8 days and now you assume I lied to you and it's actually going to be months? The fact we're providing it AT ALL is only out of goodwill on our part. To my knowledge, we're the first UE3 game since UT3 (5 years ago) to provide a SDK.

Have patience and don't wear mine out.

Did reformat to a 64 bit windows 7, so I cant imagine that being the problem unless the program is trying to run in 32 bit.

You're running the wrong bat. Run the one in red orchestra 2 folder, not the sdk folder.
Edit: There is no sdk folder, stupid me... Anyway, run the bat in RO 2 folder.
