Speaking of which, during brief internship chiefly in the name of getting official working experience to slam alongside CV, I basically had the honour of clearing up old house with some other guys which hadn't been used for years. Stuff we found included unused penis rings, used penis rings, penis pumps, man strings, BDSM gear, piece of a gimp suit, butt plugs, handcuffs, unused condoms, VHS tapes (chiefly from the 80s) and whatnot. It got even better when we sort of found the real “stash” after which everyone was just laughing, which curiously enough had US Playboy issues from August to December 1988 literally as tip of the iceberg.

Needless to say everyone was laughing sooner or later as things got just more and more absurd.

Consider yourself extremely lucky. At the peak times in China, my download speed is so slow that you could imagine each single kilobyte of data was carried from Hong Kong to Shanghai by the use of donkeys...

I will be so happy once I am back in Germany. On the other hand, the good thing about slow internet is that you can buy porn on dvd for less than a $ here :D

Nothing to forgive - Russia's leading role in defeating fascism was pretty much glossed over in western countries, so even a statue appropriate in magnitude to the events it memorialises would be generally ignored.

As it happens, there is apparently an even bigger one in kiev but this one is big enough.

Interesting sidebar: the model for the statue was the artist's mistress. When his wife saw the statue she apparently freaked out and divorced him.

Personal sidebar: After I got married, we placed the wedding bouquet at the foot of this statue.
